Niphun Mahamongkol

Technique : Flameworked

Niphun Mahamongkol was born in 1994 and graduated from high school in 2011. He studied flameworking techniques at the glass sculpture department of Bang Sai Arts and Crafts Center, which is part of a vocational training program. After graduation, he worked as a flame worker, creating products and demonstrating glass flameworking techniques to interested audiences for 13 years. During this time, he participated in various activities with BGC Glass Studio and developed an interest in glass art. Most of Niphun's works often incorporate quotes and proverbs, which he transforms into art using glass fusion and stretching techniques.

Currently, Niphun works as a glass artist at the BGC Glass Studio, an glass studio supported by BG Container Glass Public Company Limited.
